Mr Md Rakibul Hasan, a compassionate individual, commenced his academic career as a lecturer in law at the Z.H. Sikder University of Science and Technology in March 2024. Furthermore, he is an enrolled advocate of District and Sessions Judge Court, Dhaka. At the same time, Md Rakibul is doing his apprenticeship in the High Court Division under the supervision of a competent senior advocate. He is impassioned about the Constitution, Privacy law, Criminology, and Human rights.
•Additionally, Md Rakibul graduated and received a post-graduation in law from the esteemed University of Rajshahi, where he acquired a deep understanding of eclectic legal domains, for instance, constitution, human rights, Muslim law, intellectual property law, and others.
•Beyond his academic pursuits, he was president of the Rajshahi University Association of Law Finders, an organization of law students that works to advance law students. Moreover, he founded a benevolent voluntary organization named Lotus-Bud Charity Forum. For his outstanding role in the field of the voluntary arena, he was awarded the National Voluntary Award-2023 by the International UK-based organization VSO.
•Career Perspective: Crime rates are high globally, and understanding criminal behavior is crucial today. Without delving into the underlying scenarios and the mindset behind criminal acts, we cannot effectively mitigate crime. Unfortunately, in Bangladesh, opportunities to study this field are scarce and limited. Therefore, I have decided to pursue higher studies in criminal justice and criminology. In the future, I aim to build a career as a policymaker or correctional officer, contributing to a safer and more just society.
