Safaricom has broken silence with a major announcement targeting all customers inhabiting distinguished local and regional destinations.
Addressing today the 8th of January 2023, Safaricom has announced the imminent introduction of an expiry date on airtime, data bundles and SMS acquired through redemption of Bonga points.
Safaricom has announced that all airtime acquired through redemption of Bonga points will expire after a time span of seven days while SMS acquired though the same procedure have been slated an expiry window of between 24 hours and 30 days.
The mobile service provider has further announced that all data bundles acquired by redeeming Bonga points have been accorded an expiry window of seven days while talk-time minutes acquired through the same manner will expire after a time period of seven days.
Safaricom has called upon all customers to exhaust all airtime, data bundles and SMS acquired through redemption of Bonga points, articulating that any unused resources will expire and will no longer be available for use after elapse of the expiry window.
